I have had a lot of people ask me where I get my love for the mountains and how I’ve learned as much as I have about being in the outdoors. The answer: my dad. He isn’t exactly your average dad, though. He’s a mountain man. He was born 150 years too late. And I’m 90% sure he’s actually wrestled a grizzly bear… Honestly though, I don’t think there’s anyone else out there that knows more about primitive survival and adventure than he does. So I thought it would be cool to ask him a few questions about his story, his advice, and what being in the outdoors means to him. Enjoy!
